The Rolling Stones’ resume is a mile long and spans 51 years and even though the band members are pushing 70, they have no intention of slowing down to smell the baby powder. Unofficially, it’s being reported by Rolling Stone (the publication) that The Rollings Stones will start an 18-date North American tour on May 2.
Last year, The Rolling Stones played a couple shows in NY and London and ended up selling out tickets in minutes for prices that were almost unbelievable and apparently the Stones realized that they needed to give their fans another opportunity to enjoy their rockin’, rickety old bodies. It remains to be seen whether the price will be right… or better this time around.
The source told the Rolling Stone that Virgin will be promoting the tour, which will be the first official tour from the band in six years.
I’m definitely going to start saving my pocket change because there’s no way that these tickets are going to be affordable.
