What the what? That was pretty much my first reaction upon reading the San Antonio Spurs guard and Eva Longoria’s ex-husband has filed a 20 Million lawsuit against New York’s W.i.P club for letting Chris Brown and Drake into the same place at the same time.
David Jaroslawicz, Parker’s attorney, filed papers in Manhattan Supreme Court, saying the club’s owners were responsible for Tony’s “corneal laceration to his left eye and other injuries,” which stemmed from the infamous brawl between the singers.
Neither Drake nor Brown are named in the suit.
According to the filing, ”The defendants were reckless, careless and negligent in permitting Drake’s entourage and Brown’s entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two.”
Jaroslawicz also said, “[Rihanna's] been known, like Helen of Troy, to cause trouble.” Whoa, hold up there, man – let’s not get carried away with terrible comparisons. No no no!
Anyhoo, why wouldn’t you name Drake and Brown – along with their entourage – as responsible parties since, you know, they actually started and participated in the the fight?!
Maybe cause the documents note Parker was “with my friend Chris Brown” when the brawl started.
The two sides came to bottle-throwing and blows when Drake allegedly sent a note over to Chris’s table that read “I am fucking the love of your life.”
