Whitney Houston’s Family Getting Reality TV Show

Okay, who in the hell greenlit this? I know that there’s a special place in hell for half of Hollywood, but even TLC and Bravo are raising an eyebrow at Lifetime and saying “too far.”

Whitney Houston’s family has been given a reality show chronicling their recovery in the wake of the singer’s sudden death earlier this year.

Yeah.  You read that right.

The show, which will run on Lifetime, will be called The Houston Family Chronicles and is set to premiere later this year. Whitney’s manager and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, will lead the show, along with her husband and Whitney’s brother, Gary Houston, and Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

Whitney’s mom Cissy is said to approve of the show, as well, thinking it could be a great launching pad for Bobbi’s singing career.  She also reportedly believes a reality series will be good for the family, and way to keep them “as one.”

What in the fucking fuck?

I find this all to be extremely sad.  Whitney isn’t even cold in her grave, we heard all about the emotional instability of Bobbi right after and this is the solution that is they come up? What about some good ol’ fashion therapy, people?
