MJ Cemented at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre

Michael Jackson’s foot and hand prints were placed in concrete today during a ceremony at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Obviously it was a little too late to have MJ do the honors himself, so Prince, Paris, and Blanket used his shoes and gloves to make the imprints.

Grauman’s made a huge deal over the celebration. They erected a big stage, invited the Cirque du Soleil to perform for the crowd, played MJ’s classic songs, and invited some big names to speak to Jackson’s legacy, including Quincy Jones, Smokey Robinson, Justin Bieber, who was being ogled by Paris the entire time, and Chris Tucker. Of course, Jackson’s family was present as well.

Hold the obvious jokes about the fact that Cirque du Soleil was invited to perform, it turns out that they have created a show called “Immortal,” which will be a Jackson-esque performance. Ok, now you can start zinging the jokes.

Check out the pics from the day below.
