Are Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani the Next Couple to Split Up?
With all the “surprises” that have come in the ten year long marriage between Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani, reports of trouble between the two aren’t exactly shocking.
I mean, let’s face it, Gwen has had to deal with a lot of shit. First, there was the revelation that Gavin had fathered Daisy Lowe, now 22, while in a previous relationship with Pearl Lowe,. Then, in 2009, famous cross-dresser Marilyn (real name Peter Robinson), revealed that he and Rossdale had been an item for six years. Gavin later kinda/sorta confirmed the news to Details magazine, but claimed it was a short fling when he was 17 and was “experimenting.”
Shortly after that, Courtney Love stepped up on the Howard Stern radio show that she and Gavin had made the beast with two backs for eight months while he was dating Gwen. Having sex with Courtney Love is the death blow to any functioning relationship because EWWWW, but Gavin and Gwen have kept on trucking as a couple since then…until now.
Reports say that Gwen is having major trust issues with her husband right now (we can’t imagine why…), and the pair are seeking counseling. However, sources say it doesn’t look good for the pair and it may be time for their marriage to RIP.
“Gwen often wonders what other secrets Gavin is hiding. It’s getting harder and harder for her to go through the motions with a man she sometimes feels like she doesn’t even know,” a source tells Star.
The insider claims that a big problem in their relationship is Gwen is now the more famous of the two. “When they got together, it was Gavin who had the big career. But now that the tables have turned and Gwen is more famous than Gavin and that’s “been a really hard journey for him.”
Even so, the stress in their marriage comes down to Gavin’s honesty – or lack thereof. Another insider says, “He’s just not been honest with her about his past,” which could be their ultimate undoing.
Gwen and Gavin married in 2002, and have two sons: Zuma, 3, and Kingston, 5.
